With the explosion of video on social media and Vulture’s ever-growing popularity among the entertainment industry, in early 2016, we started to devise a plan to take Vulture on the road for the first time. The hope, was that this experience would become a replicable pop up model that could travel to entertainment and popular culture’s most important moments (Comic Con, The Tony Awards, Vulture Festival, Emmy Awards and more).
The first ever Vulture Spot saw us set up an exclusive media studio to host video interviews and photo shoots with the festival’s top films. The content produced at the studio was then distributed on Vulture.com and Vulture’s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts over the course of the festival and beyond. We were also fortunate to have global music and entertainment platform TIDAL sign on as the official sponsor, allowing world of music and movies to collide as celebrities from both mediums passed through the Vulture Spot.
The Vulture Spot continues to pop-up to this day.
