Although set in Brooklyn, TBS’s dark comedy series Search Party was perfectly aligned with the vibe and tone of South by Southwest in Austin. Stationed at 88 1/2 Rainey Street Vulture, Grub Street and The Cut partnered with TBS to create an environment where festivalgoers could indulge in a variety of highly Instagrammable activities, from feasting on Grub Street-inspired Franklin Barbecue to catching live entertainment – like a taping of Vulture’s Good One Podcast with Search Party’s John Early. And that’s not even getting into the shop’s unique wares from local and national purveyors as curated by The Cut.
