Search Party Sets Up Shop in Williamsburg

Search Party may be the most Williamsburg-y show ever. Alia Shawkat (the indie darling best known as Maeby from Arrested Development) stars as a millennial who becomes an amateur sleuth when a former college classmate goes missing. It’s Nancy Drew meets The Bedford Stop.

To help increase awareness of the show, in their home neighborhood, TBS turned to New York Magazine to engage with savvy New Yorkers. We were able to leverage NYM’s hyper-local website “Bedford + Bowery” to promote a pop-up shop on Bedford that doubled as a venue for events featuring New York Magazine and The Cut.

While we didn’t produce the full venue, we were happy to create some on-brand programming, provide talent and brand guidance to make the space feel like the store the kind of place lead character Dory would find to be so cool (complete with midcentury-mod “living room” as an instagram background, hipster-inspired grooming and beauty stations complete with professional fashion-forward headshots.
