eCommerce is a big opportunity for media and retail brands to capitalize on the convergence of content and commerce. To leverage the trend, we created a new discovery platform from The Cut featuring impressive women with impressive style. While each product featured was independently selected, we guaranteed select brands items from their current collection would be featured with stoppable links back to their preferred commerce platform. We then styled and shot our subjects and promoted it in a series called That’s A Good Look, devoted to the art of simple styling, with a twist.
The response was overwhelming and the model has been replicated for many brands since its J.Crew launch.
