Bloomberg Radio Goes Global

One business news organization’s trash is another business news organization’s treasure.

In 2014, Marc Siegel came my way and whispered ‘The Wall Street Journal Radio Network’ is closing. In truth, I didn’t really know what it meant, but after talking with Marc, it became clear that MarketWatch Radio which provided content to radio stations in the United States, ceased operations at the end of 2014. Under Marc’s leadership, we worked quickly to take over all of WSJ’s remaining contracts and significantly increased the scale and reach of Bloomberg Radio, with local presence and local news emanating from Bloomberg Bureaus across the globe.

A major market advertising campaign was needed to extend the formerly New York based radio.
