Bringing Travelers a Distinctly Bloomberg Experience

The Bloomberg Hub was launched in 2014, to deliver unique business travel experience, providing timely and relevant news, data and information within a visually-compelling, technology-driven space. It combines Bloomberg’s leading technology, rich content and signature design to create an interactive, energetic and functional space devised to make the business traveler’s journey more productive, more efficient and more enjoyable.

Shortly after launch, we started to explore ways to monetize our impactful video walls with a on-brand partner. Microsoft was top of the list, and conversations were soon underway. Working in tandem with Microsoft, we created a series of video assets that showcased real-life stories about the Microsoft Cloud system on the Bloomberg Media Wall ( a set of twelve 55-inch ultra HD screens) which feature departure information, market prices, and news summaries.

This program laid the groundwork for a number of additional partnerships in the Bloomberg Hub, and was a standout example of how to bring a brand to life while servicing business professionals in the best way possible, while demonstrating the unique opportunities Bloomberg was leverage for relevant commercial partners.
