In July 2019, Toyota and Entertainment Weekly partnered to bring San Diego Comic-Con to the masses and make a splash at EWHQ @ The Hard Rock Hotel. Corolla enjoyed prominent branding throughout the space, from the luxe Corolla Lounge in the Entertainment Weekly Hospitality Suite to custom signage integrated into the set of Entertainment Weekly’s Video Studio.

Entertainment Weekly’s San Diego Comic Con Site Special over delivered by millions of impressions, garnering Toyota a significant amount of added value. The campaign saw an average CTR to Toyota.com that was nearly 3 times higher than the Entertainment Weekly average.

Placing Toyota Corolla’s videos on the platform where consumers turn for of-the-moment content, Twitter Amplification provided real-time access to premier programming; allowing Corolla creative to run before relevant San Diego Comic-Con content clips on OTT and social platforms.
