In 2015, Vulture served as a sponsor of the inaugural Stream Con in NYC. Billed as the east coast version of VidCon, Stream Con allowed YouTube, Instagram and Vine fans to interact with their favorite creators in person.
Vulture, whose mission is to cover the enthusiasms that keep people glued to their screens (from big to small) was the natural fit to serve as the main media sponsor, for both industry professionals and fans alike. There were two levels to our partnership:
- The first, saw Vulture and Vimeo co-produce a series of moderated panels including a deep conversation between Ira Madison and Connor Franta
- The second, was our role as the sponsor of the Creator Camp Lounge, a large ballroom filled with places that the always-connected creators could plug in, recharge and post and interact with their fans.
