Apple has a history of award-winning advertising with best-in-class practices. In 2008 and 2009, the iPod and iPhone were sweeping the nation and changing the music industry. As a result, Billboard served as a major partner to Apple who used the website as the launching pad for many of its best ad campaigns. In many cases, we were tasked with re-designing the site to accommodate different modes of advertising, unique sizes, first-to-market z-axis activations and more. There were many midnight phone calls and QA sessions on each of these launches, but they were well worth it, creating fun and memorable advertising moments.
